Abstract

In this study the total fourteen number of rotifera group of zooplankton species were observed from Nagaram lake, Eleven number of species were observed from Dharmasagar lake and nine number of species observed from Waddepally lake during the year 2015-2016. Among  all the rotifera species seven species are belongs to Brachionus genus, two from Keratella genus, two from Lecane  genus one from Lepadella, one is Cephalodella and one is Filinia genus. During the study period Keratella tropica species is most dominated in Nagaram and Dharmasagar lakes, Brachionus rubens is low dominated species in Nagaram lake and Lecane bulla is low dominated species in Dharmasagar lake. In Waddepally lake Brachionus falcatus is dominated species and less abundant species is Lecane luna. In all the three lakes Nagaram lake shows high rotiferan group of zooplankton diversity followed by Dharmasagar lake and Waddepally lake.
